Travel Diary,
After countless hours of flying amongst the stars, I finally stepped out onto the beautiful cobbled steps of Germany! First stop;
Stuttgart! I began exploring the nearby streets near my hotel, and soon enough came across the Milaneo Shopping Centre. Having just spent a little too much at Duty Free, I decided to keep walking.
It was time to learn. Time to explore. I have one phrase that I can say well, and that is "Mein deutsch ist nicht sehr gut", meaning "My German isn't very good!"
As I walked through the local fruit market, I was in awe of the liveliness of the men and women who stood around selling. You can definitely feel the Christmas spirit here. I found incredibly ripe persimmons, called "Green Tomatoes" (
how strange, they're not even green..) that were double the size of Australian ones.

Next, I strolled down the road to visit the Famous German Christmas markets and tried some locally produced Rum and Gruhwein (hot red wine). On the way, I passed the train station and noticed the incredibly proud Mercedes-Benz logo spinning above. I stood in wonderment and of course, being a tourist, had to pause and take a photo. I mean where else would you see a giant Mercedes-Benz logo?

From ginger bread houses, to Ferris wheels, to an ice skating rink; Germany definitely knows how to do Christmas.
They even have a life size train for kids to ride, how cute!
I would definitely implore any travelers around/in Germany to try this local delicacy! It has a warm and soothing taste! It was delicious!

Next was an exclusive tour of the infamous Porsche Factory! I learnt all the secrets to the assembly of each part. It was incredible to learn about how the manufacturing and assembling is done by hand! That's 'by hand!' I guess that explains why the cars are retailed for over $770, 000 euros! I got to even drive one my future car! Well... it'll be in the very far future..
Later in the night, I ventured back to the markets to enjoy the much anticipated nightlife! It was packed with locals and foreigners, enjoying Gruhwein and dancing to the carols. I felt the Christmas spirit from the warmth and happiness of everyone around me.
Can't contain my happiness for this giant ginger bread cookie!

As I look out over this city, I am in complete wonderment as to what the next month will entail. Christmas in Europe. I don't think anything could be more perfect.
See you tomorrow, and stay beautiful!
