Amsterdam, Netherlands
If you want to do Amsterdam properly, then you need to get on a bike and start cycling!
A definite tourist location is the secret annex of Anne Frank... It will make your skin tingle and make you feel a little haunted, but seeing where she lived makes her story a whole lot more inspiring. It makes WW2 come alive. Amsterdam is an incredible place, despite the drugs and the famous red light district, there is so much it can offer you!!
Berlin, Germany
One of the most intriguing places on our map. A city rich in history and artifacts. From my visit to Checkpoint Charlie, to the Berlin Wall, I was able to recognise that perseverance and sacrifice was the framework to the bloody WW2. It was impossible not to think a little deeper here. To mourn in remembrance for the fallen men and women.
Before we get too political, let us move on to the real mouth-dropper.... This cultural and creative city is full of art and architecture that will force you to stand and stare.
Vienna, Austria
"The Sound of Music" right?
Though Salzburg is famous for 'The Sound of Music', this city is truly the land of music. Mozart, Berg, Haydn, Schmidt, Schubert, Strauss, and Liszt are just a few composers who were born in Austria. Classical talent.
With a playlist full of these greats, I wondered around the museums trying to imagine Austria during the Classical and Romantic era's.
My hotel picks are "Hotel Sacher Wien" and "Hotel Beethoven Wien"! True Luxury.
Bruges, Belgium
When I say "Belgium", you say "chocolate".
It doesn't matter where you're from, I'm certain that your local supermarket will stock some kind of Belgium chocolate! Bruges is full of architecturally stimulating buildings and monuments, so I would definitely suggest a stop-by when you're next in Europe.
I was lucky enough to enjoy a horse-drawn carriage around the small city of Bruges... what a wonderful way to see a city! Slow and peaceful!
Prague, Czech Republic
Back home it would be considered graffiti, but here it is a tribute to honor the incredible life of the late John Lennon. During my short stay in Prague, I walked along the Charles Bridge, enjoyed a traditional 7 course meal, and finished the night off with a taste of the infamous "X-Beer 33" beer. What an incredibly enriching city to visit! Full of history and swarming with creative minds! I cannot wait to return!
Budapest, Hungary
George Ezra's '
Budapest' does not even begin to describe how beautiful and how extraordinary the city really is. Budapest is the largest city of Hungary, and one or the largest cities in the European Union. Some may recall it as the city that hosts the largest music festivals in Europe, the annual Sziget Festival, but I will always remember it as the 'City of Baths'. To those unfamiliar with this term, don't worry! It's not like they have baths all over the city. Wait actually they do. Hungary is a land of thermal springs and Budapest is the only city in the world that is rich with thermal waters with healing qualities! These traditional Turkish baths dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries is what I will always remember. If you are looking to take a holiday where you can simply put your feet up and relax, I recommend Budapest!

Stay beautiful
